Five people were all arrested and charged with various drug related charges as a result to numerous complaints of a residence made to the Warsaw Narcotics unit. After getting these complaints officers conducted several traffic stops on vehicles leaving the residence.
Aaron Hoffman also having an active felony warrant for dealing narcotics was stopped by police and found to be in possession of narcotics as well as paraphernalia.
Leyon Gilliam and passenger Holly Hoover were stopped as well in a separate traffic stop. Gilliam was found in possession of meth, paraphernalia, also a handgun. His passenger Hoover was found in possession of a syringe.
This drug bust continued progressing to a raid conducted on the residence which the complaints originated. Police entered the property with a search warrant and found heroin roughly 6g, cocaine 3g, meth 18g, digital scales and various pipes and other paraphernalia used to smoke or shoot up the drugs confiscated. Police also found a 9mm carbine with ammunition and $886 cash. Glenn Dutton and Joshua Bradley were both taken into custody at this point.
Anytime our local law enforcement can go home with no incidents is a good day. This bust will net more cash, drugs, and paraphernalia than what was found in these traffic stops and home search. There is no doubt that these people will be cooperating with police to assist in larger busts. Granted that this bust was relatively small and the drugs taken off the street insignificant however, the potential effects are great.
Let this be a warning to all want to be drug dealers living in Kosciusko county. If you are running an illegal drug house and are not a good neighbor you will be reported. There is nothing worse than a bad neighbor that is not only rude but also breaking the law. You can only be one you can not be both and not expect your neighbors to complain.
